BOCA has manufactured high quality, state-of-the-art printer products for over twenty years.  Our printers are supplied in a wide variety of configurations (ticket widths, interfaces, print resolutions, customer specific protocols) to match the appropriate ticketing system.  A new BOCA printer configured for one ticketing system may not be compatible with a different ticketing system.  

Due to the popularity and reliability of our products, a number of unaffilated companies have tried to establish a market for used BOCA printers.  Many of these printers are very old; some have been improperly maintained; most are at least one product generation behind.  For these reasons combined with the potential compatibility issues with your ticketing system, we strongly discourage the purchase of used BOCA products.  (NOTE: BOCA does not sell used printers.)

In the event that you purchase used printers, we suggest that you send the printers to BOCA for repair.  Repair pricing will be in accordance with our flat rate schedule.   Prices vary from $150.00 (for the latest non-cutter models) to almost $1000.00 for old MagMini printers.  These prices assume the presence of all parts and a good print head.  The replacement of a bad print head and/or missing parts will be billed separately.  (All prices are FOB Boca Raton.)

Once the printer is restored to working order, additional modifications may be required in order to attain compatibility with a given ticketing system.  These charges are system dependent and will be quoted on an individual basis.
